It is hard to imagine that the only injuries resulting from the spectacular crash depicted in this slideshow were to the pride of its driver – Chris Simpson managing director of Auckland-based Computer Brokers. Simpson rolled the car three stages before the end of last year's six-day New Zealand Targa Rally, but he and navigator Craig McEwan of Ingram Micro walked from the crash unscathed, except for seriously bruised egos. As for the car – it will be repaired and live to race another day…
