Harvey Norman has joined the Asus party to become the second authorised Eee PC retailer.
The laptop was previously only available through Dick Smith Electronics, which started selling it in October last year. The Eee PC is sold through Harvey Norman at the same price of $599 and arguably makes it the cheapest computer on the market.
The Eee PC is only available with a seven-inch screen and case colour choices of black or white. In a statement the company says the 8.9 inch model introduced at the recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has not yet been confirmed for release locally.
