Housing New Zealand Corporation is on the hunt for a supplier of networking hardware maintenance, procurement and consultancy services.
It intends to enter into an arrangement with a preferred supplier to provide maintenance services for its telecommunication infrastructure covering both voice and data, support for its contact centre voice equipment, a non-exclusive procurement agreement for network equipment and network related consulting.
According to Housing New Zealand, its telecommunications environment is mainly Cisco-based with hardware located in around 50 sites across the country.
It also has a small number of Juniper devices in its main computer facilities in Wellington and Auckland, while its contact centre runs IPFX and NICE systems.
Companies interested in receiving a request for proposal for this work are asked to provide Housing New Zealand with an expression of interest by 19 February.
Interested parties should outline their level of Cisco partnership, their ability to support Juniper equipment and NICE and IPFX systems, and how they provide nationwide coverage.
While stating that it would prefer a single preferred supplier, Housing New Zealand says it will use separate suppliers if necessary to achieve the necessary support requirements.
