Ministry opting for multifunction devices

The Ministry of Women’s Affairs is seeking proposals from vendors to provide multifunction devices (MFDs) which will replace its current copiers and printers.

According to request for proposal (RFP) documents released this week, the Ministry currently owns two Konica MFDs, one Fuji Xerox copier, two colour printers, multiple HP desktop printers and a Brother fax machine.

The department has 40 staff and needs MFDs that meet the requirements of each workgroup. The vendor will also have to provide maintenance and support for the MFDs along with computer equipment. The

RFP is a one off deal.

More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICNNZ reference 21482.
