NetOpt seeks 20 outlets nationwide

Brisbane-based distributor NetOpt has launched a campaign to target the local channel.

The company is the exclusive Australia/New Zealand distributor of US-based peripherals and consumer electronics specialist Tritton Technologies.

Product manager Rick Nand says the campaign is the result of the high number of enquiries from local end-users over the past 18 months.

“We have sent a fair amount of product over to New Zealand, but the freight costs don’t make it economical. We have a target of 20 resellers we want to recruit by the end of quarter two, mainly in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.”

NetOpt will start looking for resellers of all sizes from 7 April, he says. “We’re focusing on resellers with the right mix. We’ll be coming over to offer the training programme and incentives such as higher margins and a cash-back scheme.”

It recently launched a number of new products including gaming headsets, external video technology and a universal docking station for laptops.
