ANZ head Chris Mitchell quits EDS

EDS's Australia and New Zealand managing director, Chris Mitchell has quit.

EDS staff were notified of the development yesterday, MIS Australia reports.

Neil Emerson, EDS's Asia Pacific operations head, will take over as interim MD.

While it is not clear when Mitchell will finish with EDS, the resignation appears to leave leadership vacancies on both sides of the Tasman.

A fortnight ago, EDS Australia reported it was expecting flat revenue growth.

Steve Murray resigned as managing director of EDS in New Zealand at the beginning of April. He has been replaced in the interim by Alfonso Gomez, who leads EDS’ Fonterra account.
