Synnex Australia signs new disty agreement with Acer

Acer Australia and Synnex Australia have signed a partnership agreement that will see Synnex act as a national distributor of Acer PCs, servers and display products from June 2.

In a statement Acer’s general manager for Channel Sales, Greg Mikaelian, says the partnership with Synnex is strategic in its quest to dominate the Small Office, Home Office and the SME markets.

Under the agreement, Acer and Synnex will use Acer’s business to business portal, known as the Acer Partner e-Commerce, which features the Build Your Own solution.

An Acer Australia communications spokeswoman says there are no plans at this point in time to sign a similar deal with Synnex New Zealand.

“Acer is looking to roll out this new partnership with Synnex Australia and focus on strengthening the relationship,” she says.
