New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is hosting an information roadshow next month for local ICT companies interested in exhibiting on a New Zealand-branded pavilion at Cebit 2009.
NZTE plans to support a group of local companies at the event as it has for the past four years. Cebit takes place in Hanover, Germany from March 3 to 8 and is the world’s largest ICT tradeshow attracting over 5,845 exhibitors from 77 countries and close to half a million visitors.
According to NZTE, country pavilions, country-sponsored exhibits that showcase groups of companies from that country, are a key feature of Cebit.
“For the past four years the New Zealand Pavilion has received media acclaim over its design and has been described by [event organisers] Deutsche Messe as a best practise country pavilion,” NZTE says in a statement.
NZTE supported 15 companies to exhibit on the New Zealand branded pavilion at this year’s event.
The roadshow aims to provide information on attending Cebit and to gauge interest in the event, while previous attendees will share their experience.
It takes place at NZTE offices in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland on July 9, 10 and 11 respectively between 10 and 11.30 am.
