The Government Superannuation Fund Authority in Wellington is looking for suppliers to develop and implement new computer software.
According to expressions of interest (EOI) documents released this week the Authority wants to replace its Government Superannuation Fund Business System (GSFBS), a custom-built system based on dated, PICK-based application software and Universe database management software.
The existing GSFBS is installed on a Sun server running Solaris. The fund was established in 1948 to provide a way for state sector employees, such as the police, to save for retirement.
The EOI also states that vendors must be able to provide enterprise scale design, data migration, system implementation and system support.
The deadline for replies is Thursday, July 17. More details are avaliable on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 22363.
