Ministry of Education seeks new PC vendor

The Ministry of Education in Wellington is looking for a new vendor to supply and support desktop and laptops. According to request for proposal (RFP) documents released this week the Ministry had a supply and support agreement which expired in March 2008.

The Ministry wants to replace approximately 1669 desktop computers and 816 laptops as some of the equipment dates back to 2003.

The Ministry’s Enterprise Network currently supports 3200 users over 44 district offices so it is looking for a vendor with experience in supplying computers to large organisations.

The deadline for replies is Tuesday, July 22. More details are avaliable on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 22423.
