Genesis Energy tenders for storage infrastructure supplier

Genesis Energy in Auckland is looking for a supplier to provide a storage infrastructure that will meet its storage, archiving and retrieval requirements. According to request for proposal (RFP) documents released this week, its current storage technology has reached its capacity and needs replacing.

The RFP also states that the new storage technology will be deployed at the company’s Greenlane, Hamilton and Huntly datacentres. The new storage infrastructure will need to use a multi-tier system and be compatible with the current Commvault backup software.

The supplier will also have to provide certified training for Gen-i support engineers and 24 hour support.

The deadline for replies is Tuesday, July 22. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference number 22424.
