Antarctica New Zealand tenders for Sharepoint server vendor

Antarctica New Zealand in Christchurch is looking for a vendor to implement a Microsoft Office Sharepoint server 2007 portal and records system. According to Expressions of Interest (EOI) documents released this week, the organisation wants a portal and records managed system that is compliant with the Public Records Act.

Antarctica New Zealand is in the process of creating a Sharepoint prototype to test its capability. If Sharepoint meets its requirements it will than issue a request for proposal to vendors. Antarctica New Zealand also wants to establish an intranet connection with Scott Base in Antarctica to share knowledge and retain information.

The deadline for replies is Thursday, July 17. More details are avaliable on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 22465.
