HealthAlliance tenders for supply of PCs and monitors

The HealthAlliance, a joint venture company set up by Counties Manukau and Waitemata District Health Boards, is looking for a supplier to replace 800 desktops, 60 laptops and 200 monitors.

According to request for proposal (RFP) documents released this week, the HealthAlliance has approximately 6000 desktops and laptops in use within the organisation and the district health board. These are mainly HP desktops and laptops running Windows XP with Microsoft Office 2003. Microsoft Terminal Server 2003 is also used by the organisations.

The HealthAlliance estimates that it will need large volumes of new computers and laptops over the next five years so this will be a long term agreement.

The deadline for replies is Wednesday, July 30. More details are avaliable on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference number 22517.
