IT solutions company MIS Services has had a winning run of late.
The company featured in three of the five awards in a joint Microsoft/HP promotion called Rockpoints, for resellers who sell Microsoft software with HP products such as servers.
MIS Services director Vic Wilson says the competition ran over three-months.
The three awards were the highest rock points collected in which MIS Services placed second, the highest rock sales achieved and the highest percentage target exceeded. The company came first in the latter two awards.
Wilson says the achievement came on the heels of the company becoming a Microsoft gold partner in June.
“We had to meet a whole [raft] of objectives, including the amount of staff with certifications in Microsoft. We also had to provide customer surveys in which they gave Microsoft testimonials.”
MIS Services also had to demonstrate high customer satisfaction in implementations, such as advanced infrastructure solutions, security solutions and networking infrastructure solutions.
“In order to qualify we had to achieve a number of implementations over a period of time and we had been working on this for a year. It gives us a greater level of support from Microsoft, and it gives us more access to software resources and higher visibility within Microsoft,” says Wilson.
