Wigley to head Sophos’ local office

Security vendor Sophos has recruited former Fuji Xerox Printers country sales manager Shirley Wigley as its New Zealand territory representative.

Sophos’ Australian-based channel sales manager Zoe Nicholson says she has grown the New Zealand market to the point where a local office is justified.

“I’ve been doing two jobs for a couple of years and I needed to concentrate on either New Zealand or on growing the channel.”

Nicholson says Wigley’s appointment will free her to focus on investment in channel growth and lead generation.

Wigley will initially be based from an Auckland home office.

Fuji Xerox Printers’ marketing manager Tom Lewis says it has combined Wigley’s previous role with that of Australia and New Zealand sales manager John Cupit. The company also plans to appoint three channel representatives here soon, Lewis says.
