Zeacom adds two modules to call centre suite

Local vendor Zeacom has bought the rights to two products, which it will roll into its unified communications offering.

The company has acquired the Mi-Audio and Mi-Eval voice recording and training modules from Auckland-based Talking Computer for an undisclosed amount.

Talking Computers is a supplier of call recording, unified messaging and voice mail systems.

The Mi-Audio module is a Windows-based call recording technology for call centres and along with the training module, will extend the functionality of the Zeacom Communication Centre (ZCC) suite, the company says.

CEO Miles Valentine said in a statement that adding these products to the ZCC suite is a logical step for providing the most advanced unified communication offering on the market.

“We will offer these options to our existing global base of call centres and start to integrate these options into new opportunities as appropriate. This further extends our functionality in the key areas of staff training and recording.”
