Department of Labour orders new hardware

The Department of Labour in Wellington is replacing a range of infrastructure and desktop hardware as it looks to improve data backup.

According to request for quotation documents released this week, the Department needs one or more vendors to supply four rack mount servers, two tape cartridges, two Intel processors and one Cisco switch.

The hardware will need to be installed by October 15. The deadline for replies is Friday, September 19. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 23231.
