Nortel nForce programme resellers can now sign up for an Overdrive rewards programme similar to airpoints or loyalty schemes.
The vendor will give partners points for sales, completing training courses and undertaking certification, which can then be redeemed for rewards such as appliances, televisions and holidays.
“We want to make a point that loyalty to Nortel means loyalty from Nortel,” says Australia/New Zealand small and medium business sales leader Martin Hatcher.
The initiative is an extension of the vendor’s bid to give more focus to active resellers and cut back on inactive ones, Hatcher says.
“In this case, partners that are committed to Nortel by actively participating in our nForce programme will get their just rewards every time they interact with us.”
Partners who are eligible have already been pre-registered for Overdrive, but need to contact their account manager to confirm their membership, Nortel says. Unaffiliated partners can contact Hatcher regarding the scheme.
