Nelson City Council to overhaul website

The Nelson City Council wants to hear from suppliers interested in providing a Content Management System and website design.

According to request for proposal documents released this week, the council needs the website to have a new look and to include features such as online payments and application-form processing.

The website currently attracts 55,000 hits per month. In the long-term the council sees the website as a virtual service delivery ‘counter’, encouraging good customer relationships with local, business and international visitors. It is offering an ongoing working relationship to the successful supplier. The deadline for replies is Friday, October 17. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 23495.
