Defence force to automate invoicing system

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) in Upper Hutt wants to automate its entire invoicing system and is seeking one or more suppliers.

According to request for proposal (RFP) documents released this week, the NZDF processes up to 35,000 invoice lines per month. Although 40 percent of invoices are entered via file upload the majority are still processed manually.

The RFP also states that it is looking for suppliers who can deliver the invoice automation system and provide a contract management framework for other document automation services in the future.

The deadline for replies is Friday, October 17. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference number 23539.
