IPFX takes Dimensions suite mobile

New Zealand software developer IPFX has launched the second product in its IPFX Dimensions suite. The new software, called IPFX Mobility, takes IPFX’s offering mobile, allowing cellphone users to utilise IPFX’s Unified Communications features, including Presence, which allows an individual’s whereabouts to be tracked, and a voicemail service with Presence-based greetings, that were previously not available to mobile users.

IPFX Mobility also allows users to control telephony and communications from within a web browser, according to a media release from IPFX.

“Alternatively, with Internet Explorer 7’s tab browsing functionality and Microsoft Exchange Server, users can concurrently access email and use IPFX Unified Communications functionality remotely”, the release states.

The IPFX Dimensions suite consists of Unified Productivity, Unified Communications, Unified Contact Centre and Telephony platforms.
