SAP's Black goes to Aussie

SAP New Zealand managing director Ian Black has been appointed chief operating officer SAP Australia New Zealand. He will be replaced by Graeme Riley.

Black begins the transition role during the fourth quarter this year and assumes the role permanently from January 1, 2009, replacing Therese McGrath. He was managing director of SAP New Zealand for the past five years.

He becomes chairman of SAP's New Zealand subsidiary.

Riley joins SAP from Infor where he was vice president Asia Pacific, based out of Hong Kong. He was general manager of GEAC in New Zealand through the late 1980s and 1990s. He also takes up his new role on January 1, 2009.
