Nelson Marlborough DHB puts in major IT order

The Nelson Marlborough District Health Board is looking for a vendor as it replaces computer/network hardware and software over the next three years.

According to request for proposal documents released this week, the District Health Board order will include 859 PCs, 310 laptops, traditional and Blade servers, Storage Area Networks, backup solutions, network switches and software.

It is looking for cost-effective responses from vendors and the replacements will be carried out on an as required basis over a three-year contract.

The deadline for replies is November 14.
