Big discounts for Nortel SMB resellers

Nortel is offering its small and medium business resellers major discounts on IP PBX products through bundled deals.

The discount programme, called My Business BCM (Business Communications Manager), means Nortel’s nForce partners get up to 50 percent discount on software, 30 percent on systems and 30 percent off IP headsets.

Nortel Australia and New Zealand SMB sales leader Martin Hatcher says in the past the cost of IP telephony has proved a barrier to small businesses.“By offering a bundle deal we can make it extremely attractive. If you were to compare that bundle to a similar system it would be very well priced.”

He adds that the BCM IP PBX products have all the solutions similar to large enterprise offerings.

“For example SMB customers now have access to unified messaging which enables them to have their voicemail and fax messages coming through to email on their desktop.”

Nortel has approximately 70 nForce partners in Australia and New Zealand.
