An internet security and a messaging security course will be the first two rolled out as part of Websense’s new Australia/New Zealand channel and customer certification programme.
The upskilling scheme is part of the gateway security vendor's ChannelConnect global partner programme.
Each of the two-day courses will focus on installation, configuration, administration and support of Websense offerings.
Websense says partners can also increase their knowledge of its products by using the company's partner portal, which has a variety of online resources including product information, online deal registration, product renewal management and training and certification exams.
The first two courses will be available in November, after which further training dates will be set.
