Microsoft Office for Mac is running a consumer competition that could provide a sales boost for IT retailers.
To enter, customers have to buy a copy of Office for Mac Home and School edition 2008, bundled with a bonus leather laptop sleeve, which puts them in the draw to win a trip for two to New York.
The competition ends on January 31 next year.
Retailers interested in running the promotion should contact their local Office for Mac distributors, Ingram Micro and Express Data, for more details.
Microsoft’s Macintosh business unit product marketing manager Danica Aitken says retailers should get involved, as sales of Office for Mac 2008 continue to grow.
“We are very proud of the fact that it is selling faster [locally] than any previous version in the past 19 years.”
