Toshiba targets road warriors with notebooks

A number of new notebooks aimed at road warriors have been launched by Toshiba. These include the Portege R600, A600 and M750 tablet, which the company says are lighter than previous models, robust and with a stylish design.

It has also refreshed six business models in the Satellite Pro series. Features such as USB and Eco Mode have been included to limit power consumption and increase battery life.

Country manager Gary Wicks says the launch represents a big step forward in Toshiba’s business range.

“Business users can have ultra-stylish portability at a range of price points. We are seeing continued decline in user segmentation as the lines continue to blur between heavyweight business needs and consumer demands.”
