TelstraClear signs Aussie reseller Telcoinabox

Australian telecommunications wholesaler and reseller, Telcoinabox, has signed an agreement with TelstraClear to resell fixed wire and mobile services to business customers.

Telcoinabox plans to replicate the success of its full-service Australian wholesale-to-resale business model to local business customers, including individuals, ISPs, utilities and other large organisations.

The deal is the second local signing for the Australian reseller. It inked a similar agreement with Telecom Wholesale a month ago.

The two deals combined are expected to earn the company’s wholesale business up to $20 million in the first 12 months of operation.

Telcoinabox managing director Damian Kay says competition is strong in the reseller space, so it is delighted the two largest telecommunication players chose to partner with the company.

“It proves we are punching well above our weight in this market. Our New Zealand customers have told us that up until now, there has not been a wholesale provider with the systems and processes required to provide telecommunications services confidently in the market,” he claims.
