BullGuard has appointed Synnex New Zealand to distribute its Internet Security, Gamer’s Edition Internet Security and Mobile Anti-Virus products, joining incumbent Renaissance.
Synnex will use its existing base of channel partners, particularly SME resellers and computer retailers, to support BullGuard in this country.
BullGuard describes itself as a specialist in “user-friendly” PC and mobile security software applications for consumers, and says the product range on offer strengthens Synnex’s portfolio of products. It promises resellers a “unique revenue-sharing model” designed to protect their margins.
“The addition of BullGuard gives us an extensive and well-positioned portfolio of security software,” says Synnex country manager Richard Harri. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to our resellers.” Harri says Bullguard's revenue-sharing model generates recurring profits from software licence fees for the life of the subscription.
Bronwyn Gascoigne, BullGuard’s sales manager for Australia and New Zealand, says Synnex will help BullGuard expand further into the New Zealand market. “Synnex has quickly established a solid track record at a local level, which we hope to use to support our brand presence and growth across New Zealand.”
