Country manager exits Anyware

Joshua Smith, country manager of peripherals and accessories distributor Anyware, has been made redundant.

The distributor appointed him country manager in February of this year to replace Peter de Wever, who at the time up a role with Anyware in Australia. Smith left Anyware New Zealand on 3 December.

Accountant Winnie Han, who has been with the company for five years, is acting New Zealand branch manager. Han says she has been told the company has no immediate plans to relocate operations to Australia. It is not yet known whether Smith will be replaced.

Prior to joining Anyware, Smith was the general manager of TL Systems.

Reseller News was unable to get comment from Smith. A call to Smith's cellphone was answered by Han.
