The West Coast District Health Board in Greymouth is looking for a supplier to upgrade its PABX phone systems. According to request for proposal documents released this week, the aging technology is no longer supported by its manufacturer.
The Board has three PABX systems located at Hokitika, Greymouth and Buller hospitals.
The systems use Microsoft Exchange 2003 for email, and have Software Assurance on Microsoft Exchange server.
Proposals must include IP-based capability within the system, as well as analogue, due to the heavy investment in copper cabling at each site.
The Board also has a number of Telecom global office phones it needs to merge into the new PABX system.
The deadline for replies is Saturday, January 31. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 24455.
