Health Alliance seeks clinical database

The Health Alliance joint venture between Counties Manukau and Waitemata District Health Boards is looking to implement a database at North Shore Hospital. The Alliance runs a six-bed intensive care unit at the hospital.

According to request for tender documents released last week, it wants a database that will collect patient demographic, hospital and admission data together with intensive care data.

The Alliance is seeking cost-effective database software from a supplier. The deadline for replies is Thursday, January 29. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 24495.
