Plant and Food Research plans PC refresh

The New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research is placing a large computer order as it ditches old equipment.

According to request for proposal documents released this week, the Institute needs 244 desktop computers, 100 medium-weight laptops, 50 light-weight laptops and 11 high-end workstations.

It employs nearly 1000 staff so potential suppliers will need to have proven experience dealing with large customers.

The deadline for replies is Tuesday, February 10. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 24709.
