CRM provider Complete Solutions is the first reseller to make use of a Revera platform taking Microsoft applications into the cloud, with a new hosted service called CRMNow.
Revera has worked on the platform for about a year since it signed as the second Microsoft hosting partner for Microsoft Dynamics version four, alongside Appserv.
Revera marketing director Robin Cockayne says it is in talks with six others about similar partnerships for the provision of Microsoft Exchange 2007 or Dynamics CRM, the two offerings currently available on the platform. The differentiator for Revera’s platform is the investment in automated provisioning, says Cockayne. It has used third-party management software Ensim Unify. SharePoint and unified communications applications could be offered using the platform in future, Cockayne says. Complete Solutions director John Biggs says the company has been conscious of the opportunity to develop a bundle such as CRMNow for the past two or three years, but price has been a barrier to organisations’ acceptance.The reseller has worked to lower the price and is offering CRMNow for $80 per user per month, along with an implementation fee starting at $2000.
“We’re providing this as a product into existing hosted environments or into an on-premise environment used for the rest of [a customer’s] applications," says Biggs. "There’s still a market for people wanting all their applications in a central place.”
Complete Solutions is keen to extend the partnership to include Exchange Server, Sharepoint, Live Meeting and Office applications as they become available.
Biggs views the partnership as a natural progression. “The world is moving rapidly in this area and we’re trying to get onboard very quickly. The combination of a dedicated hosting partner and an application VAR like ourselves is a very good fit.”
He says other resellers, particularly those offering hardware, can provide CRM backed by customer support and training services from Complete Solutions.
