Fire Service calls for Avaya PBX

The New Zealand Fire Service is seeking quotes for a SoHo PBX system to be installed in its new fire trucks.

According to request for quotation documents released this week, it wants an Avaya system able to connect to the Telecom CDMA and Vodafone GSM networks.

The PBX will need to be installed on five new fire trucks later this year. The Fire Service may also install the system on a further 12 trucks in 2011.

The deadline for replies is Wednesday, February 11. More details are avaiable on the Goverment Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 24721.
