Activate NZ teams with IFS on enterprise apps

Enterprise Applications Company IFS has partnered with market representation company Activate New Zealand to represent it locally.

Activate NZ specialises in market representation of tools and technologies focused on improving leadership, governance, compliance and portfolio management.

IFS designs applications such as supply chain management. It already has a number of local customers including AB Equipment but A/NZ managing director Rob Stummer believes the regional market is largely untapped. “In the current economic climate, it is the companies that invest, develop and capitalise on technologies that save money while improving efficiency that will have an opportunity to grab market share. We understand the importance of local representation and I’m looking forward to working with Activate NZ.”

He claims IFS business applications are designed not to lock a customer in but to provide freedom of choice. “Companies get a flexible solution that can easily be configured to meet their demands, which can evolved as markets, legislation or conditions change.”

Activate NZ director Mike Lowe believes New Zealand has had limited access to alternative enterprise technologies. “To have an agile and proven enterprise solution, comprising hundreds of business services assembled from thousands of software components, that is available and supported locally, is great news for business.”
