Security vendor Clearswift is looking for more local resellers as it restructures its channel programme.
Clearswift A/NZ managing director Peter Croft says the company is recruiting a range of resellers from integration partners to hosting partners.
“We’re well represented in New Zealand by Scientific Software and Systems. They do a very good job for us, but the market’s bigger and moving in different areas.”
Croft says Clearswift is keen to engage with partners running managed security services based on its IP.
“That’s one reseller type we haven’t really engaged with across New Zealand yet. At the other end we’re looking at dealing with people like CDW, catalogue-sale people who don’t need to take a lot of margin because they sell to skilled end users.”
Croft says the company plans to run reseller roadshows based on training and enablement.
“We’ve appointed a channel manager in Australia, Melissa Dean, who has overall responsibility for managing training for new resellers.
“Success for us means our resellers being successful. It’s a statement of fact, because in order for us to make money our partners need to see dealing with us as valuable.”
