Comworth on acquisition trail

Comworth Systems aims to adopt new agencies through acquisition, saying the market is ripe for such deals.

“We see the current environment as a good environment for companies with strong balance sheets to look at growing,” says general manager Mark Charlesworth. “The past five years haven’t been very conducive to that type of activity.”

Comworth is actively looking for new products to represent and is considering both complementary brands, and those that will expand its current business, Charlesworth says.

He says it is too soon to give details of companies or markets Comworth may buy into, but says the company may make an announcement in the next month.
