New Canon line-up hits NZ

A new range of Canon compact digital, digital SLR and video cameras, printers and lenses has reached New Zealand.

The line-up includes the Ixus 100IS, recently-launched Legria standard and high definition flash-based video cameras, new Pixma printers, and the vendor's first underwater camera - the D10.

In addition, the EOS 500D entry-level DSLR has been introduced, but won't be available here until May. Canon says it sits between the EOS 450D and 40D in its range. Full high definition recording has been incorporated in the model. It also has a 15 megapixel sensor.
