The State Services Commission is keen to upgrade its ageing intranet system.
According to request for proposal documents released last week, the system has no Content Management System (CMS) tool, doesn’t have a full search function and is not easy to navigate.
The Commission wants a replacement CMS-based intranet that will enhance communication and allow staff to perform their work more efficiently. It expects that the redevelopment will cost no more than $80,000.
The existing intranet has content such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and other documents in the Commission’s interwoven worksite document management system, so the new intranet will have to use this management system.
The Commission will work with the successful supplier to determine the source of intranet content such as migrated content.
The deadline for replies is Friday, April 24. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 25619.
