MED seeks broadband project manager

The Ministry of Economic Development (MED) is looking for a programme manager to lead the department's Broadband Investment Policy team.

According to request for tender documents released this week, the role will include co-ordination and planning of work across the projects, coordination with other Ministry policy initiatives and projects, establishment of a Crown owner investment entity and budget oversight.

The MED is seeking a senior manager with a commercial law background.

This project is likely to take between six and nine months and will be based at the MED’s office in Bowen Street, Wellington.

The deadline for replies is Monday, April 20. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 25628.
