Virtualisation company VMware has introduced a new partner programme called Partner Network, which will be available to local partners in the second quarter of 2009.
The company says this comprehensive programme will provide a common infrastructure, sales and services tools, margin opportunities and industry-recognised training. It covers all VMware’s partners from sales partners to original equipment manufacturers.
The benefits include competency-based training, a revamped partner portal, and a virtual partner university that helps partners with training and education on the company’s products.
Worldwide field operations executive vice president Carl Eschenbach says its partners are key to providing customers the business benefits of virtualisation. “The Partner Network is designed to deliver competency-based training and tools to help our partners grow their virtualisation practices and continue to be trusted advisers to customers of all sizes.”
