Trend Micro offers SaaS partner programme

Trend Micro has launched Hosted Security for the Channel, a global programme of partner incentives, lead generation, training and support.

The security vendor is offering rewards for partners selling its hosted endpoint, email or web security products, a lead generation scheme based on product trials, and free sales and product training. In addition, Trend Micro’s Worry-Free Remote Manager has enhanced renewal management for hosted security products, and there is a new Hosted Security for the Channel manual training partners in how to successfully resell Trend’s hosted security.

The Worry-Free Remote Manager now lets partners centrally manage licensing and renewals for customers of Trend Micro’s Interscan Messaging Hosted Security via a secure, hosted web console. In the second half of 2009, Worry-Free Remote Manager partners will also be able to manage Worry-Free Business Security Hosted and Trend Micro SecureSite.

Trend Micro says SecureSite allows partners to earn additional revenue by attaching remediation services. It is a hosted website security service helping protect e-commerce sites by scanning for vulnerabilities that threaten online privacy, revenue and business reputation, says the vendor.
