A supplier of network infrastructure and hosting services is sought by the Ministry of Economic Development.
According to tender documents released this week, the services will support a national emission registry system to meet its international climate change Kyoto Protocol reporting obligations.
The registry contains multiple holding accounts and allows the transfer of emission units between those holding accounts and accounts in the registry systems of other parties to the Kyoto Protocol. The registry is linked with an International Transaction Log.
The Ministry seeks a supplier who has experience hosting high security transaction systems and IT processes.
The deadline for replies is May 8, 2009. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 25821.
