Ministry of Fisheries hunts provider to control dodgy content

The Ministry of Fisheries wants to protect itself against the accidental or intentional storage of inappropriate content on its network.

Inappropriate material is classed as content that breaches the Ministry’s code of conduct which includes pornographic, racist, profane or other offensive material.

The offering proposed must be managed independently of the IT team, offer informative reports listing the location of any suspect material and minimal reporting of false positives.

Data stores that need to be read include email messages stored in Microsoft Exchange 2007, user desktop and laptop local drives and file server data stores.

The deadline for replies is Friday, May 15. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 25846.
