Weaver to replace Williams in planned Linksys transition

Linksys territory manager Mark Williams is set to leave the role, and will be replaced by Kristy Weaver, who had been working on the vendor’s consumer channel for about a year.

A/NZ regional director Graeme Reardon says the transition from two to one local Linksys staff has been in progress for the last four months, with Weaver taking greater responsibility for its relationship with Ingram Micro and the wider channel outside retail.

Williams considered a role with Linksys in Australia, but decided to travel to the UK instead, says Reardon.

Reseller News has not yet reached Williams for comment. He began with Linksys in 2006 and is a former Cisco and Linksys product manager at Ingram Micro.
