eXeed takes on HP’s remote client

Local IT distributor eXeed is now distributing HP’s remote client offering and needs fresh resellers.

According to the company, remote client delivers virtual desktop infrastructure, blade, PC, workstations and servers in the data centre.

eXeed is a specialist distributor of HP hardware. The company has invested in a remote client lab at its Parnell office in Auckland.

Managing director Justin Tye says the company is currently recruiting partners to specialise in the technology.

“We welcome resellers to contact eXeed, to visit the lab and to find out more about how we plan to support the channel in taking remote client to market.”

He says IDC research shows that companies investing in desktop virtualisation now are best leveraged for future growth.

“The research highlights how the server virtualisation market exploded into a billion dollar-plus market globally and that this strong growth continues as it becomes mainstream. Those who have the skills for this technology benefit from this growth.”

eXeed also offers HP software, Microsoft products, Watchguard firewalls and Netgear’s range of networking products.
