Commvault partner programme to support Simpana

A new managed service partner programme for A/NZ partners has been launched by Commvault, to extend the coverage of the company’s Simpana software.

The programme consists of three parts including a partnership model, commercial framework and solutions and services programme.

According to the company, several managed service partners have now been set up in Australia and New Zealand to offer Simpana data protection, archiving and replication.

IDC Australia IT Services senior market analyst Marina Beale says the programme gives the opportunity for partners to add value and differentiate themselves through offering a better quality service.

“They will also be able to offer a reliable and secure managed service to customers around storage requirements such as data contingency, availability and remote backup; whilst being able to reach market segments such as the mid-market more than ever before.”
