IBM's NZ revenue climbs in 2008

IBM New Zealand has posted increased revenue but a smaller profit for the year to December 31, 2008.

According to accounts lodged with the Companies Office, IBM's local revenue for 2008 was $391.4 million, up from $381.5 in 2007.

However, cost of sales also rose, from $309.4 million to $327 million.

Profit fell from $16.8 million to $13.7 million.
