Property management system destined for Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is looking for a property management information system vendor as it looks to look after local and overseas assets.

The MFAT has a network of overseas posts in 45 countries and also owns property in New Zealand.

It has an access database of property information which will be used to populate the new system. This includes information about properties, vehicles and photographs as well as the scanning of plans and other support documents.

Tools will need to be available to allow this information to be loaded as part of the implementation. The MFAT will manually add additional information over time, once the system is operational.

It is expected that MFAT’s own technical staff will carry out the implementation of the PMIS using documentation supplied by the vendor.

The deadline for replies is Monday, July 20. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 26480.
